Still scrapping in Maleny

18 Nov

With the annual AZZA Consultants Conference taking up most of my time recently, it is now back to scrapping. In preparation for the conference I have completed a few pages using the new Promenade AZZA Scrap kit. This is a very versatile stencil and the kit gives you what you need to get started on great layouts.

The first one used one of the new Christmas die, Christmas Branches. The ribbon is our linen tape that adds texture without imposing on the photos. The stamp is ‘Christmas Ambiance’. Photos are a vineyard in St Emilion, France.

The next layout features a decoration we were shown at our annual AZZA Conference. Our instructor was Christine Houbrechts, from the AZZA Creative Team in Belgium. This lady has talent! Photos are from Florence, Italy.

At our conference we had a challenge to create a layout using the Promenade stencil and squirrel photos that were supplied. Here’s my version. The decoration is a stamp from the Promenade PLUS Kit, coloured and embossed.

This week I have a class where we will create a special gift for someone special at Christmas or as a memento of the year past. This was devised by Lyn Holmes and my version of it is below.

The finished size and shape can vary but this one is 19cm x 12cm. It uses regular 10x15cm photos. It is able to stand open on a shelf for display. It can be held closed with a magnet or tie.

This version uses 7 photos. You add add extra pages if you wish.

Construction of this page is not difficult, especially when you see a completed one in front of you. We always inspire each other with ideas so if you are interested in joining a class, contact me, 0416 091 108.

In my next post I have more recent pages that I have scanned. More of those later.

Anita.
